Akhand Pratap Singh, Director: Akhand Pratap Singh studied MBA, from Institute of Management & Development, New Delhi and did his Post Graduate Diploma in NGO Management from University of Lucknow. Akhand sees his work as a way to address a core challenge of our times; the growing gap and inequality between the urban prosperity & rural poverty. Taking the menacing growth of urban waste Akhand used it effectively and efficiently as a tool to trigger large scale development work on diverse issues in some of the most backward areas and remote communities of Uttar Pradesh specially Pratapgarh, Amethi, Janupur, Sultanpur etc. . He got many awards and recognition from various organizations for his social development program. His key note works are like SHG Formation & training, Prevention of sexual harassment of women at workplace, water conservation, women empowerment, rural education etc.
