Financial Background:

Waris Is A Loveable Child Who Lives In Tuglakabad Village With Parents And Four Other Siblings. He Belongs To A Very Poor Background- Both Economically And Socially. He Does Not Go To School. All Other Siblings Are Regular Children And They Go To Nearby Government School. His Father Is A Tailor And Does Not Earn Much.

Medical History:

Although Not Much Improvement Has Been Shown By The Child- Still He Is Taking Medicines. Waris Needs His Two Fingers To Be Operated Which Is To Be Done Very Soon. At The Hospital They Provide Periodic Dates To Review The Child Is Not Helping Much.

Waris’s Degree Of Mental Retardation Is 90% And That Comes Under Issuer Level. His Backbone Is Deformed And Needs Treatment. Due To Economic Conditions His Father Could Not Provide Proper /required Treatment.

Problems:

Waris Has Some Orthopedic Issues Which Needs Immediate And Proper Treatment.

His Physical Issues Include-

• Two Fingers Joined And That Make Him Unable To Do Proper Hand Movement.
• Waris Is A Non-verbal Child And Has Communication Problems, So He Cannot Communicate His Needs. Physically He Is Very Weak. Even He Cannot Walk And Stand Properly.
• He Has Severe Motor Issues. Motor Control Is Poor. He Can Do Little Gross Motor Activities With Prompt. He Cannot Hold Things Properly.

Improvement:

Now He Is Attending Our NGO At Kalkaji On A Regular Basis. He Has Shown Improvement. The Parents Are Satisfied With The Environment Of Our NGO- Which They Feel Would Be Suitable For The Child.

Due To Extreme Financial Constraints, The Child Was Never Put To Proper Medical Treatment Which Made His Conditions Deteriorate. But Currently He Has Been Taken To All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, Delhi For Treatment.

Waris Is Strongly Recommended To Be Put Into Regular-
