Akash Is A Child Who Belongs To A Family Of Humble Background. He Is The Eldest Of The Three Siblings. His Two Younger Siblings Are Regular Children Who Go To School. Akash Is Used To Go To School (regular School) Till Class 8th. His Father Works In A Factory And Earns Not Much. His Mother Is A House Wife.
Medical History:
In That School Some Kids Pushed Him From High Stairs And The Child Got Hurt Very Bad. After That Slowly Akash Became Physically Very Weak And His Mental Condition Deteriorated. He Has A Very Weak Memory. Akash Is Being Treated By Doctors But There Is Not Much Improvement.
Akash Is A Good Natured Boy And Smiles. He Is Verbal And His Understanding Level Is Quite Good. A Very Shocking Incident Happened In Akash’s Life. Akash Was Sexually Harassed And Assaulted By A Few Local Boys. As A Result Akash Has Been Very Scared And Went Into Quiet Mode. He Hardly Speaks Now To Anybody And Has Become More Psychologically Down. He Does Not Even Want To Go Out Of His House. He Is Scared Of Strangers.
Problems:
For Life Skills Akash Is Completely Dependent On His Parents Or Teachers. So ADL Training Is Must For Akash. Akash Belongs To A Economically Weak Family Although His Parents Are Supportive. Due To Financial Issues He Is Not Being Able To Get Enough Training. Now The Child Is Attending Our NGO 5 Days A Week.
Mother Works As A Helper In A School And Father Is A Daily Wage Labor. Akash Lives In A Slum Area Of Our Locality, Which Is Not A Very Good Area For Such Children To Live. Akash Also Has Problem In Sitting As Well As Walking. Regular P.T (physiotherapy) Is Required.
Improvement:
Now He Is Attending Our NGO At Kalkaji On A Regular Basis. He Has Shown Improvement. The Parents Are Satisfied With The Environment Of Our NGO- Which They Feel Would Be Suitable For The Child. Akash Is Sexual Assaulted Child Who needs Proper Counseling Sessions On A Weekly Basis By A Professional Counselor. Akash Is Not In An Educable Age Group So We recommend For Him Daily OT, PT, ADL And Counseling to Improve His Life And Make Him Better.
